Case Study | Gympie Regional Council - ICT Review

The Gympie Regional Council (GRC) engaged BCI Technology under a competitive tender process to partner as a vendor independent ICT Systems Integrator to progress a major program of projects aimed at refreshing GRC’s ICT Infrastructure and core ICT systems.

BCI Technology conducted an extensive review of ICT infrastructure, systems, services and competencies needed to be conducted as a first step in informing the scoping and planning of ICT foundation build program.

The outcomes of the review were presented to the CIO, CEO, Mayor and Councillors who endorsed all recommendations put forward by the review team. Work to advance the ICT foundation build program commenced based on the findings of the review. Gympie is aiming to position itself as a provider of innovative ICT solutions and services to 11 other shires within its jurisdiction.
